hi jake
wecan an informal chat tonight if u wish
since many cant make it due to weather
welcome Jake
Have a question on oats
hi jake
hi every one
yes sir Mr j
I want to talk on grains and some other markets breifly as well
I think so
I think 238 area in corn will hold
User [fran /209.100.190.129] joined forum on Tue May 09 12:59:11 EDT 2000
great questions
hi fran
did u watch the opening in oats today?
looking possiblely to me as well..
n
hi fran
hi all
fran did u get as much rain as I got?
no watch oats,....what happened?
they gapped to the 119 3/4 on the opening today and then pop 3 cents
got 300 acres of beans to plant yet :-)
my seeds are washed away :(
darn
that gap opening in oats today was to flsh out the sell stops
I hope not I will see Fran
:0
I reseeded 4 days ago
:)
flush the oats not fish
so I think oats will develpo a trading range here within 5 cents and rally to nrew highs
I look aT TODAYS lows
as the bottom of oats
so I would buy on the retest
with a stop
gary...did you plant with a cover crop?
thanks gary
I did buy corn for clients today
and sold options agaist that position
cover crop?
does that answe u Mr J
mixture of different grasses
no
y one more question on cotton
not just blue grass
I just used Scotts best seed
I used starter seed
I should haveused astroturf :)
yes Mr J
our son had it sprayed on with paper product to hold the seed
cotton had a spring on 5-1 and had a joc today
YES
I had intentted to talk about trading range
in cotton today and its strenght
it is much differnt when amos isnt here
ditto
I can do this at a differnt level
thank u Mr j and Lmarsh
no thank you!
cotton if u recall showed strenghth several months
ago and cam down to support
and now is reated from support
and developed a trading range
and broke out today

I would nt be surprised if the market came back first
and had a small upthrust
at this level
User [Jeff Z. /24.17.169.192] joined forum on Tue May 09 13:06:44 EDT 2000
but I am bulllish and look foer higher prices
look at the CRB
I appreciate you too gary ;-)
acted strong today
thank u Fran....
I just my seed to grow :)
Did you see the "minor" spring in Autralian Dollar
I want to be a farmer of grass
Hi jeff
Yes I wanted to send that chart as well
some will....just be patient
this market will be accumaulting
at the 5850 areaa
hello mrj

User [fibo /206.104.30.225] joined forum on Tue May 09 13:08:05 EDT 2000
hi jeff
it has been 2 and 1 /2 weeks and I want a whole yard
I am not patient
hi fibo
Hi fibo
nhi fibo
hello everyone
I think the trade on the grains today
was very constructive
hi fibo
I think we are close to thw lows on this retracement
hi Fibo
hi fran
wheat is acting constructive now
corn is weaker at this gesture
juncture
fibo...all that gann energy was negative
but I thi k that is because too many public longs
o.k. fran
I look for strenghth in corn tomorrow though
I think the market will close the wek near the highs for the week
price range was very narrow
yes very good MR J
the shortening of the down ward thrust
I think corn will react well form the 238 area nicley
as I mentioend I bought corn for clients
as I think the lows are near these lvels
though the market did some damage over the last few days
bean action and the rest of the grains ranges were tight today
after some coorection
to me this means that the CM was buyers as weak longs were gtting out
the market going from weak longs to strong longs
gary what is your line in the sand on the corn? stop?
I was a byer at the 238 area
and the stop is around the 227 area
o.k. thanks
I cant be specific on a public forum
but you get the idea :)
o.k.
July corn
though I dnt think corn gets under 235 area
:)
I bought July as I think
the market in july will react better
do you have a comment on the grains today fibo?

gary, you think the market in July will react better based on what?
i think it was constructive today also
personally, I would like to see a washout
then the back month jeff
we had a washout with storms today :)
ok
sure did
got lots of things washed out
how much?
hey I am acity boy
almost 2 inches
that move to the suburbs
any bad stuff fran?
and I heard a tonardo siren for the first time in my life :)
I was scared as he....
the dog went nuts
no...but just 50 miles south tv said had BASEBALL size hail
for the first time in my life I could sleep due to the weather
so as a wrap up on the grains
glad it missed you fran
I think the lows are near on ths coorection
so am I....that is BIG
and I expect the lows from today to hold within a few cents
where 50 miles fran city?
covington
todays tight range
light volume was bullish to me
and I think the market overall works higher this week
K
k
so I think grains could be bought here
k
k
Ok
a way to play this is to buy the futures
and sell calls that are out of the money
or buy putd
against
you futures
today to me was a key to many
markets
I have some specific levels of some markets that I think when they break out they will really fly
I think the markets to atch
here
Gary, do you have any comments on July OJ.
and I am sorry for the charts
I will get them out tomorrow hopefully and discuss them
are OJ
cotton
cocoa
I think OJ retested support at 8100
and now is rallying nback to resistance
at the top of the range
and I think the market is undergoing accumaultion
and will jump over the creek
okay Jeff?
How do we interpret the low volume over the last two days?
todays volume was good
on the rally
OK
the previous days
the market was attempting
to go lower so light volume was bullish
and lead to todays nice rally
gold looks constructive to me here
as well as silver
watch the crb chart
this looks very good
though we are at the top of the range here

okay Jeff?
any other questions

I want to talk about horizontal trading ranges...
k
k
k
I think a amrket that is undergoing accumaltion
is coffee
it is weekly support
and the daily looks very good to me

I think coffee is very constructve
I think 110-120 calls spread
could we joc here ...do you think?
is about 650 dollars with profit potiential of
3 k
please watch coffee
it moves and can be a great risk reward market
Gary, is there much risk of just going long coffee from these levels?

questions
coffee is volitile
User [jim /152.169.0.119] joined forum on Tue May 09 13:31:37 EDT 2000
and is expensive
hi jim
hi,all.
has lots of rk
hi jim
it is a NY product and grows in columbia :)
risk sorry
hi Jim
it was a typo
what it the significance
of the horizontal trading range?

support and resistance
ithe horizontal trading range
accumulation distribution detection levels of support and resistance
is for support and resistance
accum or distri
right
it also shows where demand
and supply comes into play
when we are dealing with a amrket
the longer the range the larger the move
then coffeee should soar someday fibo
very well said fibo
lol@fran
the horizontal range
gives us the cause for a move
so when we approcjh support
at the bottom of the range
if it is accumaltion
the retest should be on lighter volume
and smaller trading ranges on a dialy basis
fran is drinking lots of coffee
to show demand
and clean up supply
lol
darn...thought I could wish it up fibo
: ^)
she wants to be a user CM :)
:-)
he want to hoard coffee like the Hunts with silver
lol
she is buying Star bucks I heard
and dumping coffee in the watrer like the Boston tea party
coffee could still make a new low going into harvest in july-ausust
august
nite
nite marsh
nite lmarsh take care
User [lmarsh] left forum on Tue May 09 13:40:17 EDT 2000
night lmarsh good luck
so we have many markets to me
that are in sideways horizonatl trading ranges
that are building cause
and will go higher
the crb is crtical to watch
becuase this is showingunderlying commdty support

we MUST be aptient
when a market is in arange
and really shouldnt anticipate
a break out JOC
but watch the market
identify support
and if u feel and identify
support withn a range
buy it with a stop
great question
the CRB
really in the grains....a washout would be great...too many in the market right now
in my opinion is smartly woring higher
what do I mean buy this
when it gets to resistance

the reation off resistsance
seems to be waning
to me this means that there are less and less sellers
as the amrkets gets to reisstance
User [jake /147.72.69.187] joined forum on Tue May 09 13:44:26 EDT 2000
the more times we test
resisatbce the more likly
that we will break thru it
and I think this is the case with the CRB
it is interesting
the wheat had a washout
to note that the break in the grains
didnt hurt the crb too much
dues to energies ralying
k
did u get the list of charts I wanted to send tonight
y
that I wills end hopefully tomoroe?
y
well wheat crb coffee cocoa
are this very markets that I am talking about
that are accumaulting in my opinion
wheat has turned from a very weak market
to one that seeems to hold support well nw
me eithe Fran
brb
Oi isnt part of wyckoff
I bought wheat today as well
as I feel that wheat is going from a weak market to a strong market
the horizoantal ranges
are important to watch
becauase as they build cause
they also will measure a move to come
when they break out
the idea of the horizonatla trading ranges
is to wear and tear the public
and bide time
till the CM begins to mark up or mark down prices
when the amrkets breaks to support
at the bottom of the range
the public thinks that
the bottom will fall out
example OJ
nite jeff
night jeff
nite jeff
so the purpose of bring the market
User [Jeff Z.] left forum on Tue May 09 13:50:02 EDT 2000
nite
to go to the bottom of the range is to discourage
longs
and it gives the CM the opprtunity to buy at cheap prices at support
so watching the ranges within the trading ranges
and watching the volume
u will be able to decifer demand or supply
streghth or weakness
that is why i belive u saw the small range with light volume in the grains today
Gary remember crude oil and the buying climax that you called--- have we had a down move to a point of support and are we now looking at a secondary test of the BC
questions on horizonatl trading ranges and there signifivcance?
YES YES YES Mr JU
J
ok thanks
amos mentioedn support in crude 2 weeks ago
he called the bottom
I think June crude will retest the 3060 area
but you called the BC
User [jim /152.169.0.119] joined forum on Tue May 09 13:54:29 EDT 2000
we should see a retest near the highs
what will be significant

is the VOLUME and price action at that levels
k

yes I did Mr j
did u have a question about crude?
no sir just an observation thanks
do u mena if we had a BC we shouldnt retest the highs?
oh okay
I thought u had a question if indeed it was a BC
I am 100 percent sure
n
but Imwill wit for the retest
k
I am not 100 prcent sure I meant
I follow it could go higher thanthe "tentative" BC
could
yes Fran
I wish I was able to send the charts
because there is alot that I wanted to show about ranges
but hopefully tomorrow
I think you did great even without the charts
I dont want to go into much detail without them in front of u
I have some point in mind
would u like to hear where I think critical
support and reisstance
is at on some markets
y
y
or will I confuse u
y
I dont usually do this
y
always confused anyway
but i think markets are at major points
I am a tad differnt from amos and Fibo
so I am trying to to catch up to them :)
cocoa
I think majot support 770
if the market gets aboove 816 very critcal
last weeks high 812
OJ 8550 resisatnce
8100 support
boy i should nt do this I may lose crediabilty
july beans 545 support
587 resistance
july coffee
105 20 ressiatnce
9400 support
June gold support 27440
resistance 29430
I mean 28430
260 supprt July wheat
279 resisatnce
okay
I think rice is retesting
corn? :-)
sounds good
and is accumalating
oh :)
I mentioedn that before u came fibo I think
235 july corn
k
resistance at 259
to me these are the evels
that I expect volume
and price action to pick up at
I think resisatnce in all th markets I mentioedn
will be broken
and support will HOLD

boy I really went out on a limb
because if I am wrong No one will come to class ;)
sure they will
I am writing rukles on a contest
it will begin June 3
it will be monitored
by someone
fibo....the 4x1 gann angle coming up from 1986 low of 1.51 shows support at 2.33 weekly and we broke it
and it will have specific rules
it will rin till labotr day
support was broken?
on this chart...a gann chart
fibo do u have a comment?
no
it was just 3 cents fran is that good or bad?
i think gann always gave it 3 cents
just food for thought

thanks fran
corn has good support at 228-232
I think you can break support....but should recover soon...right?
or in trouble...right?
fran husband says the low was 150.75 in 87
i think it has to recover really soon after breaking support..like a washout or a spring
User [jim /152.169.0.119] joined forum on Tue May 09 14:14:45 EDT 2000
I have 1.51 1986
what does it cost for a farmer to grow corn?
irrigated corn about 2.60 per bushel
irratated corn or irrigated :)
& that depends on whether you have to make land payments or pay rent
irrigated :-)
we are at 2.00 depending on several factors right now
fuel and chemical
how much for non-irrigated corn?

I let kelly Mow
I water shw mows
she
boy is she getting ripped off
but when it rains I have to reseed so i dont win
